When in rome

I visited the ancient city of rome this easter for 3 days.

Beautiful city i must say! I arrived there on saturday afternoon with my amazing friend Farida, grabbed some lunch and headed straight to our hotel.

TRECENTO HOTEL is located on via del corso 300 right in the city centre. it is about 5 minutes walk to the colosseum and most of the important tourist attractions in the city.

Although it rained all weekend, we managed to visit the key tourist attractions the vatican city, st peters basilica, the colosseum, the spanish steps, the trevi fountain (sadly we didn’t see much of because it was under construction), a panoramic view from the top of the Viktorrio Emmanuel monument (this building is so huge!), the pantheon (amazing gelato shops around), a typical long walk on the famous via condotti (packed with any designer store you can imagine) then rounded off our day at campo dei fiori to have a few drinks and smoke shisha.

I’m an amazing tourist!!! if i do say so myself… who tours a city like rome in a day?? I did!!

I definitely had a feel of it and was well pleased.
